1. Ryan Reynolds….great fellow Canadian, who’s super funny! -and not bad looking either. Even if he is married to Scarlett Johansson…I’d invite her too…she’s cute and I think she’d be pretty cool too since Ryan liked her enough to marry her. ;)

2. Bruno Tonioli from Dancing with the Stars(on the right)…he is everything I’d want in a best friend. We’d dance all the time, and he’d make me laugh with his crazy analogies!

3. Adam Shankman from So You Think You Can Dance…and director of some movies…he is so hilarious…(pictured here with Queen Latifah…who I’d also like to invite for that matter…I just LOVE her)

Do you see a theme here…I’d want funny people at my house for dinner. ;)

4. Jean-Marc Genereux and his wife France …they are Ballroom Dancers/Choreographers, and judges from SYTYCD-Canada…after dinner I’d have them teach me some moves!

5. Ewan McGregor…the one crush I ever had that has lasted the test of time…I’ve had a crush on him since I was 16…everyone else I crushed on in High School…I’ve moved on from. It is awesome that he’s Scottish too…I have a soft spot for Scotland. (i’m half)

6. Ian McKellan-I just love him, he is such a great actor and I love that he’s played some great iconic figures. I also think its remarkable that he ‘came out’ so late in life and I love listening to him speak. His posh English accent is the best.

Small Talk 6 -love songs that make you melt

I’m by no means a gushy girl, but there are songs that make me tear up every time I hear them, there’s the ones that make me yearn for days gone by. I’m gonna have to break out the iTunes to do this one.

  • Eyes Without A Face-Billy Idol (I just love the mood of this song, and who doesn’t love Billy Idol-seriously?)

  • Lovesong-The Cure (I can listen to this song over and over and over and over….)

  • Sexy Bitch -David Aguetta feat. Akon (just kidding, making sure you were paying attention lol -it’s a great jam tho)
  • More Than Words-Extreme (right up there with Mr. Big’s-Be With You-oh how I miss grade 7 lol)

  • One Thing -Finger Eleven (Great song-I think the band recorded this song drunk…still turned out awesome though)
  • These Are The Days of Our Live-Queen (It’s not so much a love song to a lover, but more towards a friend of family member, there is something eerie but sweet, when you know that this is the last song Freddie Mercury ever made a video for and perhaps last song he wrote before he died.)

These Are the Days of Our Lives-Queen (click to watch the video)

  • Even In the Quietest Moments-Supertramp (Not only does this song have sentimental reasons for me because my father passed away in 2003 and was a huge fan of Supertramp, this is one of their best songs ever-I actually made a video montage with pics of my dad to this song and put it on a DVD for my mom)

  • He’s Everything You Want-Vertical Horizon (Reminds me of an ex-more a turbulent love song…enough said)
  • Blister in the Sun-Violent Femmes (just kidding again…love song for a horny teenaged boy maybe lol)

Okay so minus the Joke Songs, that 7, but how can you realistically pick only 6! ;)

I must also tell you that when I was finding the songs, I was listening to iTunes and I’m now currently listening to Go Speed Racer at my 3 year old son’s request! lol

I really could go on for days with my favorite songs, I am a huge music fan with my tastes ranging from Spice Girls to Marilyn Manson. Hmm.

And btw, I’m pretty sure all these are available on the iTunes store.

Small Talk Six-6 of the worst films you’ve ever watched

    Small Talk Six
I would probably say that most films have their place in the world. I do however find that when it comes to critically acclaimed films, I tend to not like them so much. I mean, artsy provocative films don’t tend to be among my top.

I’m sure a lot of people will find my list strange as some will be films that won oscars etc. But I’m me, and I have my  own opinion as do the people who liked them.

    1.  Brokeback Mountain (I just didn’t like how it made me feel afterwards…I mean, I was thinking, why did I have to witness this depressing story-the homoerotic aspect didn’t bother me, it was the sad existence the two men lived)

    2.  Burn After Reading (totally pointless and barely even funny)

    3.  The Ugly Truth (another pointless movie, even tho I love both Heigel and Butler, I just don’t like this movie)

    4.  Blindness (interesting concept, but I felt icky after watching it)

    5.  Eyes Wide Shut (I wished this movie was good, but it wasn’t, it had so much potential…)

    6.  Mistress of Spices (Aishwaria Rai’s attempt at Hollywood was a failure)

There are many more I’m sure, but I can’t believe how incredibly hard it was to come up with this list.

Small Talk Six -6 pieces of clothing or accessories you’ve owned, loved, and wished would come back in style

    Small Talk Six

    Hmm that’s a tough one.

    1. Crushed Velour Hats with big fake flowers on the front (made famous by Blossom)
    2. Button down plaid shirts, tied around the waist
    3. Jelly shoes
    4. Toe socks
    5. Banana Clips (just kidding)
    6. Shirts with the shoulders cut out.

Not sure if I would want these to come back in style, but who knows, things come back re-purposed and end up not being so bad…see leggings with long shirts with belts…who knew?
